About our saturday entry Classes:
Our Saturday classes introduce children to beatboxing through sounds, rhythms and creative activities in a friendly online group.
Each session revisits core sounds and explores a rhythm, so children can join without having attended previous classes. Returning children can practise their foundations and try their own variations.
Children learn through tutor demonstrations, guided practice and an optional freestyle sharing session. They’re welcome to join in without performing on their own before they feel ready.
How much individual attention is included?
These are group sessions, with tutor time shared between the children. There are opportunities to contribute and share, but time for individual feedback is limited.
For learning that builds from week to week with a consistent group, explore CORE. For dedicated attention and teaching tailored to your child, choose private lessons.
Children are welcome to keep enjoying Saturday classes for as long as the format suits them.

What Are The Benefits Of Joining OUR Classes?
Hey! I'm Danny, founder of School Of Beatbox.
I taught myself how to beatbox at the age of 11 and found a way to express myself and my creativity like no other. I used to have a stutter / stammer around that time too and beatboxing gave me back my vocal confidence. Today, I'm a UK championship beatboxer, a recording and touring artist and have been delivering beatboxing workshops for teams, schools, PRU's, events and festivals for over 20 years. School of Beatbox is a social enterprise with a mission to inspire and engage young people and adults through the art of beatboxing.
Your Questions Answered
Will my child receive individual feedback?
The tutor guides the whole group, and children have opportunities to contribute and share. Individual feedback time is limited because tutor attention is shared across the class and the basics are revisited for newcomers. If your child would benefit from dedicated help with their sounds, rhythms or personal goals, private lessons offer focused one-to-one teaching.
What is the difference between Saturday classes and CORE?
Saturday classes are flexible entry sessions for discovering beatboxing and practising the basics. Each class can be enjoyed on its own.
CORE is our weekly programme, where children learn with a consistent group and develop their skills through connected sessions and monthly themes. CORE sessions allow more time for feedback. CORE is still group teaching; private lessons provide individual tuition.
How much are classes?
Each 1 hour class is just £15 per child. Get both classes at a discounted rate. If it's your first class - get it for free here
How can I Pay for a class?
Payment can be made by debit or credit card. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay and Paypal.
Who are classes suitable for?
Classes are aimed at children aged 5-12yrs old. Older children have joined and enjoyed these classes too.
What if my child has special needs, a Ddsability or is neuro-divergent?
Children with varying special needs, disabilities and neuro super powers have joined and enjoyed these classes. The class tutor has years of experience working with children with a range of differences. Get in touch at mail@schoolofbeatbox.com if you have any concerns.
How often do classes happen?
Our regular online kids classes usually run every two weeks, alternating between 2 different time slots to accommodate family schedules. For children who'd like weekly training and a more structured progression pathway, take a look at CORE.
What if my child is shy or nervous?
Classes are designed and delivered to ensure all children feel comfortable. No child is picked on to do anything and they can get as involved as they like. All children are encouraged to share something in the Freestyle Session.
What is the 'Freestyle Session'?
The Freestyle Session happens at the end of each class. Each child has the opportunity to share a beatbox rhythm or sound of their choice.
Who teaches the classes?
Classes are delivered by professional, championship level beatboxers. All have extensive experience teaching beatboxing.
