School Of Beatbox offers tailor-made beatbox and music-making projects to suit any school or organisation's needs. Two popular programmes are a 6-week course and a 10-week course. Both are designed to teach students about beatboxing, songwriting and can include recording a song, filming a music video and learning about the many jobs available within the music industry. We aim to engage with students through creative mediums while raising aspirations.
The 6-week programme is the perfect introduction to beatboxing. Students will learn how to beatbox, write songs and create backing tracks using only their voice. At the end of the course, participants will have written a complete song with lyrics and a backing track.
The 10-week programme builds on the skills learned in the 6-week course. In addition to beatboxing and songwriting, students can also learn how to record their song, work on a performance and even make a music video. This programme leaves a lasting impression and students will walk away with something tangible that they can be proud of.
Song themes can align with the a particular topic or this can be decided as a group during the course. We favour the expression of something real, that comes from a person's perspective - of a life experience, for example. We can also create something totally silly if that fits with the group and the client's needs.

How Much Does A Beatboxing / Music-Making Project Cost?
Below are our most popular projects, however, we can tailor a project to suit your needs. Just get in touch to discuss. The price of a beatbox project varies depending on the length of the project / sessions and whether the programme includes recording a song and/or filming a music video (where a 2nd and 3rd facilitator are brought in for some of the sessions).
6-Week Online Project - from £1080 (upto 1 hour per session) - Learn about the art of beatboxing and by the end of the 6 weeks students will have learned a beatbox routine including rhythm, bass, melody and sound effects)
10-Week Online Project - from £1800 (upto 1 hour per session) - Learn about the art of beatboxing & songwriting. By the end of the 10 weeks students will have learned how to beatbox including rhythm, bass, melody and sound effects and will have composed their own piece including lyrics which can be performed.
6-Week Project In-Person - from £1560 plus travel (upto 1h 20m per session) - Learn about the art of beatboxing and song-writing. By the end of the 6 weeks students will have learned how to beatbox using a microphone including rhythm, bass, melody and sound effects plus they will have composed their own piece with lyrics which can be performed. They will have used a loop station to create all-vocal backing tracks too.
10-Week Projects In-Person
Option 1 (10-weeks) from £2600 plus travel - Beatboxing, songwriting, music industry knowledge. Learn about the art of beatboxing & songwriting. By the end of the 10 weeks students will have learned how to beatbox including rhythm, bass, melody and sound effects and will have composed their own piece including lyrics which can be performed. They will have learned about the wide-range of roles within the music industry and will have used a loop station to create all-vocal backing tracks.
- 1 facilitator
Option 2 (10-weeks) from £3500 plus travel - Beatboxing, songwriting, music industry knowledge + recording song. Everything in option 1 plus recording their song to keep and learning basic recording skills.
- 2nd facilitator brought in for sessions 5-10
Option 3 (10-weeks) from £4640 plus travel - Beatboxing, songwriting, music industry knowledge + recording song + creating music video. Everything in option 2 plus filming a music video to keep and learning basic filming skills.
- 2nd and 3rd facilitators brought in for session 6-10
Travel expenses are charged at 45p per mile.
All facilitators are DBS checked, have full Public Liability Insurance and bring all equipment necessary for the projects. Equipment is all PAT tested.
